Job description: Driver/caregiver for my 4-year-old son named Miles who is bubbly, loving and fun. He has a slight learning disability but is progressing well at his daycare.
Criminal Record / Vulnerable Sector Check required. Must have own transportation.
I have a unique helper position starting this Feb that could provide supplemental income if you already have another day time job and/or are a student. I am advertising this as a 7-month part-time driving caregiver position.
Situation:
My own job starts very early and my son’s day care doesn’t open by the time I need to be getting and arriving to work. Miles’s grandparents have been helping him get to day care but they are now moving away. Because I work a condensed work week, I would only need help 4 mornings a week for approximately 3 hours per day. (Tuesday-Friday)
Because I work long days, 4 days per week, I am looking for someone to be able to drop Miles at day care at a reasonable hour so that he doesn’t have to put in such a long day. For example, I would need you to be at my home when I leave for work at 5:45am, and then let Miles sleep in until about 7-7:30, and then get him to day care (must have own transportation) for breakfast time which is 8-8:30. Too early? Want to live in? Also an option.
This is a unique situation where you can choose to be compensated for an hourly wage (salary negotiable) or you if you are interested you could be compensated in part with a place to live. It is a lovely 2-storey, 4-bedroom home in NW Calgary. This would be for a 7-month period starting February 1, 2022.
Please call or email asap.
Sincerely,
